Many of the new challenges are the same old ones, the perceived mistrust, and apparent heavy handedness of city leaders that drive people apart.

This is what I have done about it lately.

The link below deals with the long standing habit of the mayor to feel  no remorse for limiting public desent.

I told the mayor after he messed around with the camera's during the last election to limit people's access, "good show, but don't ever do it again." Of course, he did not heed me. It became my duty to bring my son with a camera to city council to record my response to his complete blackout of public comments.

The next few links deal with my continuing efforts to get civic leaders to prepare for a halt, if even temporary, of basic services.

Here, I am trying to talk about the things that sensible people shy away from talking about.

This is mostly fun and some genuine admiration for the city staff, and particularly Elizabeth Brubaker for all they do. It also show me following our city's redevelopment crisis back before most out side of the city had it on their radar.

This clip goes back a few years, but shows me asking an assemblage of civic leaders if anyone has a plan. There was no answer.

The next few links show my continued support for every one to be treated fairly.

Here I call for the start of a meaningful dialogue about why there is so much fear about being gay. Is it sin? Let's at least start at the right question.

Here you can see me for a second in this news clip, hitting the streets in support of human rights.

Here I plead again for the most basic of human rights, the right to be free from the war on drugs and the evil and injustice on both side that prosper from it.
